Job Summary
Granite-Tops/Stone Countertop Outlet is seeking a full-time Facility Manager to oversee our Albertville location. The ideal candidate should have past granite or solid surface experience and have the ability to understand construction plans/scales and calculate square footage. The Facility Manager is responsible for growing new business for the location, leading a team with sales goals and ordering and managing inventory for the Albertville selection center and other showrooms. We are a retail location with Saturday hours. We work with both Builder/Remodeler clients and direct retail customers.
The ideal candidate should have previous sales and/or management experience and must be dependable, organized and be a team-player.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Facility Management:
- Meet, and where possible exceed, growth and gross margin goals
- Manage, train and develop facility sales team
- Manage staffing levels, scheduled hours and time off requests
- Reviews estimates periodically to ensure accuracy
- Contact and communicate with suppliers for sampling of granite/quartz products
- Manage and order stone inventory for the company
- Reports and reconciles inventory reports
- Works with other Facility Managers to swap inventory between showrooms
- Manages maintenance and care of facility as needed
- Negotiates pricing with suppliers for quality materials and consignment inventory
Inside and Outside Sales:
- Manage Customer Pipeline: follow up with customers, conduct call backs and contact potential customers providing proposals to potential projects and relationships.
- Provide showroom sales for non-retail and retail customers
- Assist clients with the selection process
- Assist with estimation of large commercial jobs as needed
- Communicate with Project Coordinators, Field Measure Technicians or Installers as needed on each job or project.
- Provide customer service as needed
- All other duties as assigned
