Culbertson, Jacobs & LaBoda, PLLC is seeking a self-motivated full-time legal assistant/receptionist to work with a well-established and growing law firm in its Orlando office location. Our office practices Social Security Disability law and has a high volume of clients. Client service and communication are key in this role. You do not need to have previous exposure to Social Security Disability law, but we do require that you have basic computer skills, strong people skills, an ability to handle stressful situations, an ability to get along well with co-workers, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
- Responsibilities include answering phones, client intake, case reviews, filing appeals, maintaining a calendar, meeting all deadlines, assisting attorneys with work as needed, and communicating with the Social Security offices.
- Must have the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Good attendance and punctuality are required.
- Compensation according to experience and market expectations. We also offer PTO, paid holidays, etc.
- Spanish-speaking ability preferred but not required.
