Job Summary:
To perform repair and service work on electronic, hydraulic and/or mechanical petroleum equipment and products as applicable.
Experienced technicians are eligible to receive a sign on bonus up to $2,500!
Duties:
- 65% : Services and repairs electronic, hydraulic and mechanical petroleum equipment and any other petroleum equipment in the Service field. Troubleshoots and makes repairs to ensure proper operations. Installs, programs and tests new equipment.
- 15% : Communicate with Service Dispatch on the status of work orders and service jobs. Open and closes work orders with dispatch. Provides service repair narratives (written and verbal) for customer, and submits paperwork for time worked and repairs completed in a neat, accurate and timely manner.
- 15% : Monitors and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory in service van including, but not limited to, transfers of parts to appropriate jobs and other service techs as applicable as well as returns to warehouse facilities.
- 5% : Trains other service technicians on servicing/repairing/installing equipment and other essential functions of the position. Training will be overseen and managed the Service Manager.
Requirements: *technicians with more experience will be considered for higher level positions
- Education : High School diploma is required.
- Experience : 1-3 years of experience in mechanical systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, construction or related repair work experience is required.
- Licenses/Certifications : A valid driver’s license is required. Technicians must maintain a good driving record. Current factory and safety certifications required prior to hire/promotion: API WorkSafe Safety Certification, Veeder-Root ATG Technician Certification, GVR or Wayne Dispensing Systems - U.S. Certification, Passport Technical Training - U.S. Canada.
- Technical Abilities : Electrical knowledge and excellent mechanical abilities. Ability to operate mechanical equipment and machines as described.
- Autonomy/Direction : Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Trains other technicians and is required to make quick decisions in the field without management assistance.

Pay: $22.00 - $39.00 per hour
