The role of Diesel Service Technicians is to perform heavy-duty mechanical maintenance, repair, and diagnostics work under general supervision and in accordance with factory and industry standards. The ideal candidate must possess manual dexterity and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical service or repairs to vehicles and equipment
- Read job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles in operation to resolve malfunctions and plan work procedures
- Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined
- Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed
- Test-drive vehicles to ensure repair or maintenance quality assurance
- Tag all warranty parts and returns for submission to company Warranty Manager
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction
- Properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by supervisor
- Complete all work according to proper procedure and safety requirements
- Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management
- Maintain designated workspace in an organized and clean manner
- Ensure guest vehicles are returned to proper cleanliness standards
- Production goals and objectives set by management
- Adhere to manufacturer’s policies and procedures relating to labor operations, time and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs, and torque specifications
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Fleet or dealership experience preferred but not required
- ASE & CDL certification preferred but not required
- Team-orientated and dedicated to excellent customer service
- Strong detail-orientation, communication, and time management skills
- Self-driven and professional demeanor
- Must have your own tools
