Description:
As an LMS Instruction Design Specialist, your day-to-day work would require creatively crafting engaging instructional content based on evidence backed instructional methods. The ideal candidate would possess adult learning theory expertise and have experience with learning and development tools. Instructional design relies on the analysis of performance data to assess the effectiveness of instructional material. As an instructional designer, you would follow the company and team styling guidelines to develop consistent and branded training materials.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and development of training materials to enhance retention and the transfer and application of knowledge
- Collaborate with stake holders and SMEs to analyze, plan, design, develop, and implement training deliverables
- Assist with assessment development based on collaboration with SMEs and the LMS team
- Utilize Backward Design when creating instructional content
- Works with SMEs to develop practical scenarios to incorporate into training
- Creation of visual instructional supports using Adobe products as well as Sketchworks
- Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
- Draft concise instructional texts and scripts aligned with targeted course objectives
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical knowledge of component manufacturing operations and design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong background in assessment and instructional data analysis
- Effective Implementation of Backwards Design VYOND
- LMS platforms (preferred)
- Camtasia (preferred)
- SketchWorks (preferred)
- Adobe RoboHelp (preferred)
- Proficiency with/ability to learn proprietary company management software.
- Possess a Warrior’s Spirit and a Servant’s Heart.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 3-5 years of experience with instruction/curriculum development
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel as required
