Working under the supervision of the Vice President of Healthcare Operations, the Clinic Manager is responsible for the organization and managerial leadership of the Wellness and Homecare Departments, which includes Employee Health, Resident Health, and Home Health.
Job responsibilities include:
- Demonstrates/encourages opportunities for carrying out Paradise Valley Estate’s mission and vision.
- Formulates and works within annual budget; recruits, hires, and staffs work area at appropriate levels.
- Acquire resources and means that promote a quality work environment; ensures quality performance and conformance with regulation and laws.
- Participates in the Quality Assurance process. Keeps abreast of and implements new programs of practices.
- Assures residents are assessed and plans are made to address nursing care needs.
- Assures residents are provided care to meet their needs.
- Assures physicians are notified of resident conditions and that requests and orders are properly processed.
- Assures all documentation is completed within appropriate timeframes.
- Explains procedures to residents; assists resident in accessing desired services.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate degree, diploma or bachelors or BA/BSN degree. In addition, must hold a current valid RN license to practice in the State of California or show proof of application for such. Evidence of continuing education in area of the nursing process, nursing management and geriatrics. Must hold CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
