Full Job Description:

We are hiring experienced or those interested in becoming Behavior Technicians in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Behavior Technicians provide direct, in-home or clinic-based services with children, teens, or adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our behavior technicians are charged with implementing and supporting a treatment plan created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Not only does the team work to reduce maladaptive behavior, but the team also teaches replacement skills, verbal language, play and social skills, adaptive and other life skills, to name a few!
Responsibilities:
· Work directly with children either in homes or clinic
· Teach social, life, play, and communication skills using ABA principles
· Take accurate data using software and tablet provided
· Learn and receive feedback from Board Certified Behavior Analysts
· Maintain confidentiality of all clients and follow HIPAA guidelines
· Create and submit accurate and detailed notes of services provided to be submitted to insurance providers
What we are looking for:
· Passion for working with kids with disabilities
· Ability to be creative, fun and silly with children across a variety of ages
· Available between the hours of 8am-6pm M-F
· Willingness to drive between clients within your region
· High school diploma required, college preferred
· Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance
· Willingness to work with children with a varying degree of behaviors including but not limited to tantrums, self-injurious behaviors, aggression, etc (training will be provided)
· Eagerness to be an active participate in a treatment team by providing insights and receiving feedback from supervisors
· Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB clearance
· Willingness to become state certified (CBT)
· Willingness to become Board certified by taking a Board exam to increase training and hourly pay (RBT)
Physical Requirements
· Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting on the floor or chair, kneeling, crouching, bending with children across a variety of ages
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
· Ability to always attend to child’s safety
