Pearl’s events and activations are a critical component of Pearl’s success. These events create a rhythm of daily activities that draw people to Pearl and make them want to stay to enjoy. The Senior Events Manager will be accountable for identifying revenue generating opportunities, developing the strategy and execution of Pearl’s on-site events and activations in partnership with the Silver Ventures Partnership Manager, Property Management, Security and the Markets teams. A successful Senior Events Manager will be passionate about Pearl’s vision and the role that events and activations play in bringing this vision to life.
Essential Functions
Leadership & Communication

Serve as main point of contact for all on-site activations, to include responding to inquiries from community partners.

Clearly communicate guidelines for events and uphold standards of execution, consistent with Events Process.

Develop standard reporting for on-site activations to be used as a communication tool and mechanism for determining the success of the activations.

Provide updates to Pearl’s leadership team on effectiveness of activations to include traffic generation, revenue impact, and trend analysis.

Develop a regular structure and running 6-month event calendar for providing timely, clear communication to all parties involved in the activation process to include but not limited to Property Management, Markets Manager, Security, Tenants, and Marketing.

Oversight of Markets Manager to include highlighting Pearl’s Weekend Market as a critical component of the activation strategy.

Oversight and leadership of the Markets Operations team in support of the execution of the overall events strategy.
Strategic & Stewardship

Design and execute 12-month plan of on-site events (activations) that furthers Pearl’s vision of being the pioneering Plazamaker of North America.

Collaborate with CEO and Finance & Accounting team on development of annual and by-project budgets, including post-analysis; be accountable for tracking and spend of those budgets.

Identify vendor needs and corresponding budget that supports the planning and execution of on-site activations.

Work closely with Silver Ventures Marketing Team to promote activations and engage our community.

Engage Tenant Partners in the planning process as appropriate to ensure the activations further the reach an effort of our ground floor tenants.
Required Education and Experience

Five (5) years previous experience in marketing, hospitality, and/or project management

Bachelors degree required, advanced degree a plus
