JOB SUMMARY:
Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately filling orders, receiving and stocking merchandise, and supporting the sales team by delivering orders in a customer oriented and friendly manner. Warehouse Associates are also expected to keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately fill all orders and ensure paperwork is completed and filed properly.
- Receive and stock merchandise in a timely manner and in designated locations.
- Deliver merchandise to customers in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Assist with unloading intercompany transfers.
- Organize, replenish, and maintain inventory locations.
- Sweep floors, remove trash and recycling, and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Assist with disassembling and packaging showroom displays.
- Follow all policies and procedures including health and safety policies.
- Contribute ideas to improve and optimize warehouse procedures.
- Work respectfully with the Gross Electric team in a positive environment.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Forklift Certification preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
- Ability to climb up and down multiple steps and ladders.
- Ability to climb in and out of cargo vans.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, lift.
