Position Summary:
The Catering Sales Coordinator will oversee the catering sales for all Pei Wei Stores in the Houston market. This position will act as a “Brand Ambassador” for the Pei Wei Catering Brand with mindset to grow the market though community outreach, marketing, and cold call sales. Duties include, but are not limited to, generating sales, menu sampling, contacting customers through visits, emails, calls and text. In-store visits, catering order set up and deliveries.
Essential Functions:
· Oversight of client base of 500 customer contacts in Houston market.
· Works new leads each week and converts to sales each month
· Direct Entry Orders sent to Catering Sales Manager each week
· Monthly goals set along with your Catering Manager.
· Develops internal restaurant relationship with RDO’s, GM’s and store team members
· Ensures that all orders are accepted and executed from start to finish
· Develops relationships within the community with schools, churches, local businesses, conference, events, and other organizations
· Conducts follow-up communication with all Pei Wei Catering guests via email, phone or text.
· Participate on team’s calls, Reginal and Company meetings.
· Meets and/or exceeds current sales target and other metrics as determined by management team
· Maintain company standards by following the catering guidelines
· Weekly visits to Pei Wei locations, making sure catering display is current.
Requirements:
Education and Certifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Hospitality Management is preferred.
Experience:
· Must have at least 3 years of catering sales management experience.
· Proven record of Sales Building
Competencies:
· Must have a high level of understanding and knowledge about the restaurant industry with a focus in delivery and/or catering, and an exceptional aptitude of restaurant operations.
· Must be highly motivated, creative, and team player.
· Must have good communication skills with all points of contact
· Must have good time management while work remotely
· Must understand Pei Wei operational practices to perform catering responsibilities
Working Conditions:
· Position requires talking, hearing, walking, sedentary work, and visual acuity.
· Work is performed in both remotely and in a restaurant environment.
· Work entails driving to stores within the market as well as local businesses, schools, churches, etc.
