Job Summary
This position assists in overseeing the college's finance and administration's daily operations which includes the management of the college's $43 million dollar budget, procurement, campus services, and accounting areas. This position also serves as the point of contact for all internal and external audit engagements.
Responsibilities
- Oversees assigned fiscal affairs operations. (50%)

Oversees the Bursar's Office, the Campus Services Office, and the Accounting Office.

Ensures compliance with all college, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Directs the preparation and submission of a variety of financial reports. (15%)

Prepares and submits the Annual Financial Report, the Budgetary Compliance Report, and POV reports.

Oversees the timely submission of all other financial reporting to both internal and external agencies.
- Directs the maintenance of accounting records. (25%)

Oversees and ensures the integrity of the institution's accounting reports.
- Performs a variety of related duties. (10%)

Serves as point-of-contact for internal and external auditors.

Performs the duties of the Vice President for Finance and Administration as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree required.

Five years or more of related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience within the University System of Georgia system in related roles.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of Board of Regents policies and procedures.

Knowledge of State of Georgia budgetary policies.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Knowledge of state and national issues related to higher education.

Knowledge of budget development and management principles.

Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.

Skill in the delegation of responsibility and authority.

Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs.

Skill in decision making and problem solving.

Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.

Skill in oral and written communication.

Other Information
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
