Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in clerical tasks, possess strong organizational skills, and have experience with office procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in administrative work in a part time summer position.
This position is intended to be temporary. Expect that this position will be concluded by the end of this summer. However, if you prove to be a competent and efficient member of the team there is potential for a long term position.
Responsibilities:
- Input data into computerized databases with accuracy and efficiency
- Transcribe information from paper documents into digital formats
- Create and update spreadsheets using software tools like Excel, including pivot tables
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy of data entry
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data entry or similar clerical roles
- Proficiency in typing and data entry (speed and accuracy are essential)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with basic office equipment and computer programs
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic math concepts
