212 Renovations Group (interior renovations general contractor and woodwork fabricator) is seeking a Project Manager.

Job Summary
The Project Manager role at 212 Renovations Group is not just a job, it's a pivotal role that shapes the success of our projects. As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of a construction project, with a special focus on custom millwork delivery. Your responsibilities will span various project management areas, including project planning, cost management, time management, quality management, and contract administration.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate buyouts for projects. Complete take-offs of projects and gather estimates from suppliers.
- Develop a cost-effective project plan and schedule to complete the project on time and within budget. Manage revisions to the plan as required.
- Work closely with the project coordinator to ensure material purchases are executed within schedule, budget constraints are met, and material is delivered on time.
- In partnership with other project managers, coordinate the work of installers and subcontractors on various project phases. Ensure they understand the work scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct site visits and obtain survey information using the total station
- Review architectural and engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations and the application of appropriate construction methods.
- Report to the stakeholders on the progress, issues, and any necessary project modifications required or requested.
- Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Work with estimators to ensure opportunity estimates and quotes meet customer expectations at the most optimal cost.
- Ensure crew member hours and expense reports (with receipts) are submitted to accounting weekly. Also, ensure crew member performance reviews are conducted as scheduled.
- Managed job budgets, tracked project expenses, and minimized cost overrun risk. Take a lead role in reviewing job cost actuals versus budget in monthly job cost review meetings and attacking sources of cost leakage.
- In partnership with superintendents, foster an atmosphere of continuous cost, schedule, and quality improvement among crew members. Identify and implement ongoing cost reduction initiatives. Evaluate the use of bonuses to motivate performance.
- Confer with the superintendent, owners, general contractors, and subcontractors to discuss and resolve work procedures, complaints, and installation problems.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections of construction sites.
- Continually evaluate the open backlog for future labor and equipment requirements. Take appropriate action to ensure skilled resources are available when required. Consider alternate approaches to satisfying resource needs (e.g., using subcontractors).
- Lead by example in quality, hard work, safety, organization, attitude, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Be the face of Geosurfaces while in the field.

- Able to generate and follow a project plan/schedule and adjust as required to achieve job completion target dates. Able to schedule and multi-task.
- Able to read plans and specs and lay out a field or room from job drawings and specs.
- Able to plan and organize a team effort. Passion for motivating, leading, and boosting team morale.
- Strong focus on cost productivity, installation quality, and safety.
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Capacity to handle the pressure of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Enjoy serving as a trainer, coach and mentor to job superintendents, project coordinators, estimators, and installation crew.
- Excellent reasoning, problem-solving, and math skills.
- Excellent communication skills –written & oral.
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
- Proficient with Google email, docs, sheets, etc.
- Periodic out-of-town travel to job sites is required.
