We are offering a role based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in the telecom industry. The position focuses on accounts receivable management and caters to a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities:
- Follow up and perform collection activities for various lines of business such as Maintenance, Open Order, New Equipment and Modernization accounts.
- Prepare customer concessions and Legal/Collection packages and ensure they are processed.
- Monitor the status of liens with NCS.
- Perform account reconciliations for both internal and external customers.
- Maintain up-to-date customer contact information in our systems - phone numbers, fax numbers, and email addresses.
- Send invoices and statements to customers as necessary to collect on accounts.
- Document all collection activities within JDE Account Activity Log.
- Manage the A/R reserve list to collect all possible balances.
- Utilize Linx to locate customer information and raise cancellation alerts in Linx as necessary.
- Lead special projects as required.
- Adhere to all company policy and procedures.
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) or similar role
- Proficiency in finance-related software and applications
- Strong understanding of invoice and collection processes
- Excellent customer service and phone presence skills
- Ability to accurately perform ad hoc financial tasks
- Experience in account reconciliation and expense reporting
- Familiarity with credit processes and procedures
- Proficient in English language, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of purchase orders, buying processes, and agreement specifications
- Experience in dealing with suppliers and stakeholders
- Adherence to company policy and procedures
- Proficiency in documentation processes
- Ability to lead special projects as needed
- Basic understanding of laptop hardware for daily operations
- Willingness to travel as per job requirements
- Ability to understand and create financial notes
- Familiarity with "About Time" software would be a plus.
