Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area)
Position Responsibilities:
- Supports the development of Capital Rx’s autonomous pharmacy and therapeutics functions
- Interpret fiscal and operational needs to support Capital Rx’s business goals
- Creates financial modeling to identify opportunities for rebate optimization and lowest net cost strategies
- Works cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to develops strategies and identifies opportunities for new or enhanced financial opportunities related to drugs/drug classes
- Creates and implements metrics and supports performance measures to establish rebate performance objectives
- Implements new processes and best practices related to formulary and rebate optimization
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for the adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience in managed health care or pharmacy benefit management
- Experience performing analyses on medical and pharmacy claims to identify opportunities for cost optimization
- Knowledge of data management and modeling
- Skilled in Excel, SQL and Tableau
- Proven ability to work well and collaboratively, with multiple teams or departments for business growth or profitability goals
- Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
- High attention to detail and a self-starter
- Commitment to delivering high quality work product
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree, preferred
- Experience with contracting negotiations, strategy development and contract redlining experience, preferred
Base Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
