Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience and possess a strong desire to litigate cases in the areas of auto fraud, FDCPA, and FCRA violations. The role entails handling court appearances, client communications, deadlines, and settlement negotiations. Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation proceedings related to auto fraud, FDCPA, and FCRA violations.
- Handle all aspects of case management, including court appearances, client communications, and deadlines.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents as necessary.
- Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and their counsel.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and legal staff.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed member in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 0-5 years of experience in consumer law, litigation, or related practice areas.
- Strong litigation skills with a demonstrated ability to handle cases independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
