I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
This worker will perform manual and possibly automated testing of low to complex business applications. Works with team lead, other QA Analysts and project managers to analyze requirements and test new or existing procedures, information systems, or utility programs for efficiency, effectives and to verify they conform to the requirements. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
- Performing manual and automated testing of web or mobile applications
- Developing test cases for testing mobile and web applications
- Documenting testing results in a detailed manner
- Version control such as Subversion, Gitlab
- Working in a project team environment, Agile Methodology
- Testing to ensure accessibility and other existing standards are met
- Maintaining effective working relationships
- Documenting testing results in Bugzilla, Jira or a similar tool
- Skill writing SQL in industry standard relational databases
- Managing multiple task and priorities
- Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff
- Writing automated test scripts
- Leading QA team
- Perform and document load testing
