The HR/Office Admin is responsible for activities across several core business functions, including human resources, facilities and administrative support including, but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management and policy drafting and implementation. · At least two years of human resource management/office admin experience preferred.
· SHRM-CP a plus.

A successful HR / Office Admin will be able to:
· Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
· Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
· Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
· Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
· Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
· Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Ensures facilities are kept clean, organized, and orderly, up to company standards
· Answers all incoming calls and forwards accordingly
· Arranges, attends, and contributes to meetings with colleagues and other stakeholders, taking minutes if necessary
· Manages any issues with facilities and maintenance and interfaces with building maintenance and operations
· Plans, coordinates and manages internal colleague events
· Orders and picks up office meals and runs errands as needed
· Monitors and maintains inventories of office supplies, snacks, special orders, and related expendables
· Collects, sorts, and distributes incoming mail
· Serves as backup to receiving as needed.
· Provides general support to visitors and guests by greeting them and providing hospitality, the ConnectOn Way
· Conducts general office filing, binds materials, scans documents, and saves in appropriate files
· Performs other duties as assigned.
