Short Description
The Senior VP for Integration is a a senior-level executive who will initially oversee the on-going transition planning and execution of the newly merged combination of Cooper University Health Care and Cape Regional Health System. This role requires a leader with excellence in collaboration, communication, presentation skills, influence, and the ability to deliver superior execution across large scale, and highly matrixed operations. The SVP for Integration will work closely with the Cooper Co-CEO, SVPs and other members of the SLT as well as the local executive team to ensure the strategic objectives of the merger are achieved.
This leader will also support other merger / acquisition initiatives as Cooper continues to expand its footprint across the region, serving as a key leader who provides support to implement the strategic plans for integrating various healthcare services and systems within the organization and oversee the coordination and alignment of clinical, operational, and administrative functions across departments and facilities.
The SVP for Integration will report to system executive leadership and collaborate with local leadership and physicians to capitalize on opportunities for integration and streamline processes to enhance efficiency. They will also establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including physicians, department leaders and team members to facilitate seamless integration efforts.

Experience Required

Develop comprehensive metrics and monitoring systems to support the integration plan and assess the impact on patient care quality, financial performance, and operational outcomes

Serve as a liaison with external partners such as other healthcare providers, community organizations to represent Cooper in new communities

Evaluate current entity operational committee structure and reporting mechanisms to suggest/implement alignment or changes where it would support enhanced operations/patient care outcomes

Provide leadership and guidance to cross functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Provide guidance and support to resolve any challenges or conflicts arising during the integration process

Ability to work successfully in matrix management structure required and the ability to articulate a vision and lead others through change.

Education Requirements
