Events Representative Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for stewarding all the logistics regarding planning and executing events and catering orders. Acting as a role model with a work ethic, customer service, organization, and company knowledge is crucial. DMC has an ever-evolving brand and marketing strategy. The Events Marketing Representative's success relies heavily on pivoting and adapting to changes and unconventional strategies. This position requires the ability to lift 60 lbs. This role's responsibilities may change based on operational needs.
Events
- First point of contact for event execution
- Estimate costs for the event
- Coordinate with staff volunteers with manager approval from respective departments.
- Oversees all preparation, execution, and breakdown of all events.
- Overseeing POS preparation as needed
- Report on financials, staff performance, and overall event execution during the completion of projects.
- Learn and maintain barista skills and product knowledge
- Proactive to all potential issues, ensuring events run as smoothly as possible
Marketing
- Execution of marketing collateral as needed
- Assistance and involvement in, but not limited to, marketing emails, video media, set building, prop procurement, etc.
- Ensure all event promotional materials are planned and released to the public.
Catering
- Point of contact for all catering orders
- Ensure all catering equipment is sanitized and stored properly
- Oversee payment and processing of every order.
- Delivery, when needed, of products and accouterments to the location
