As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated and adaptable Jr. Sales Manager to join our team and help drive our business forward.
Job Overview: As a Jr. Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our sales operations. This position involves a balance of office duties and field activities, with a 60/40 split between the two. You will act as the primary point of contact for stores, overseeing sales activities, activations, and training, as well as managing accounts and ensuring efficient order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Account Acquisition and Management: Identify potential new clients, develop strategies to acquire new accounts, and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
- Activations and Sales Management: Drive sales through active engagement with stores, overseeing in-store activations, and effectively managing accounts.
- Order Fulfillment and Delivery: Handle the logistics of order fulfillment, including scheduling and making deliveries directly to stores, ensuring efficient and timely service.
- Staff Training: Conduct training sessions for store staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Proactivity and Adaptability: Take initiative in a startup environment, adapt to new challenges, and be willing to undertake new tasks as needed.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid CA Driver’s License: Required for making deliveries; candidates must be comfortable with frequent driving.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have access to reliable transportation for various job-related tasks.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift more than 50 lbs is necessary for handling product shipments and setups.
- Age and Certifications: Must be over the age of 21 and able to secure a food handler's card within 30 days of starting.
- Travel Readiness: Prepared to travel as needed for deliveries and trade shows.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Entry-level position; previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven capability to work independently.
- Characteristics: Self-starter, proactive, adaptable, and a problem solver with a keen interest in learning various aspects of the business.
- Motivation: High enthusiasm for sales with a drive to increase personal profit through successful activations and account management.
