Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, is responsible for filling all orders, verification and receiving product from vendors, and maintaining cycle counts.
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will assist walk-in customers with their pickups and occasionally pickup or deliver product to customers and vendors.
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work with inside team members and outside sales teams to ensure timely shipping/receiving of all product and arranging for the transportation of products. They will also assist in a variety of warehouse duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Inventory cycle counting.
- Picking orders.
- Scheduling freight trucks.
- Repetitive lifting and moving of heavy objects.
- Receive and verify parts against purchase order.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Experience
Required:
- Computer skills; including Microsoft Office, UPS Worldship, and FedEx Online.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk most of the day.
- Ability to twist and turn at least 25% of day.
- Stoop and bend at least 25% of day.
- Ability to reach above shoulders at least 25% of day.
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements at least 50% of the day.
- Forearm rotation at least 25%of the day.
