Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
**SALARY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE**
Duties and Responsibilities for an BCBA:
- Administer foundational assessments (ABLLS, VB-MAPP, Vineland-3, Psychosocial/Ecological Assessments and FBAs )
- Develop treatment plans for Initial and Re-Authorizations based on assessment results and submit to appropriate insurance providers
- Develop individualized Behavior Support Plans utilizing evidence based interventions, per client interfering behavior(s)
- Provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (across all levels)
- Ability to provide continuous and ongoing data review, programming updates and treatment updates
- Maintain certification, licensure and credentialing across all providers (BACB, NC State, insurance providers)
- Provide oversight, ongoing training and supervision to RBTs and BCBA candidates
- Conduct parent/caregiver coordination meetings at least once monthly
- Provide ongoing feedback to supervisees and supervisor and accept constructive & positive feedback
- Effective time management skills to balance all cases and prioritize needs for each client and staff
- Ability to communicate clearly, objectively, efficiently and concisely both vocally/verbally and written.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all co-workers, clients and families, supervisors and community members.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, HIPAA policies, state laws, including code of ethics as indicated by BACB
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Attained a master’s degree and Board Certification with BACB
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BCBA with experience of training and supervision of RBT’s and providing parent training.
- Obtained and/or applied for licensure within current state (North Carolina)
- BCBA is in good standing
- Completed 8 hours supervision course
- Enjoys working with children and is skilled in de-escalation of interfering behaviors of different levels of severity (ex. prolonged tantrums, property destruction, aggressions…etc.)
- Possess the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and ability to frequently move about and maintain a variety of postures (i.e. kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing) for extended periods of time. May include being on the floor playing, sitting...etc.
- Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication, have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper.
- Write legibly and has proficient writing skills.
