As Distribution Centre Manager (DCM) – Poland, you will be responsible for the Leadership and Management of all
warehouse activities including the Inbound, Operations, Compliance, Safety, Outbound and timely delivery of product in a
manner consistent with Lovisa customer service and cost objectives while delivering the position KPI's.
Goods Receipting & Inbound
- Oversee the management of inbound processing, including goods receipting and put away.
- QA requirements and needed. Processing will include reworking of items at inbound as necessary.
- Manage the cost/unit visuals and review via VMB Boards
- Cover stock orders, goods not for resale orders, ecom and fixtures management.
- Manage the picking, packing and despatch teams. Process starts at order drop through to carrier collection.
- WMS management, RF tracking, Performance reporting of teams required.
- Ensure outbound merchandise is packing as standard, labelled correctly, and despatched in a safe manner.
- Manage the cost/unit visuals and review via VMB Boards. Maintain and manage staff productivity measures.
- Management of VAS and Rework functions as required. May include engagement with 3PL service providers.
- WMS management, RF tracking, Performance reporting of teams required.

Chain of Responsibility & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in warehousing and logistics.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet compliance requirements.
- Monitor adherence to chain of responsibility obligations to mitigate risks.
- Ensure the security of the warehouse premises, including implementing security and monitoring systems.
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure the warehouse & equipment is kept in good condition.
- Ensure all plant & MHE is properly maintained including Inspection process and protocols.
- Establish and monitor safety compliance KPIs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and to maintain high safety standards.
- Ensure Adherence to all industry and governance legislation re: warehouse operations.
- Include signage, Dangerous and High Security items and CCTV systems.

- Implement and oversee a robust incident and hazard reporting system.
- Investigate incidents and hazards and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
Team Member Onboarding:
- Manage the onboarding process for new warehouse staff, including training and orientation.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to safety and company code of conduct policy.
- Ensure new hires are well-integrated into the team and understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Together with team leads, establish work practices, routines and schedules that allow for a safe, efficient, and
orderly operation for all warehouse activities.
Visual Lean Boards for Operations
- DOR (Daily Operations Visuals) are expected to manage our process flows throughout the DC. Reporting to
cover analytics including DC performance and SLA service delivery visuals.
- These are expected to call-out support to ensure our targets are met on the DC floor.
Visual Lean Boards for Safety and Compliance:
- Utilize visual lean boards to track and communicate safety and compliance metrics.
- Ensure all team members are aware of and engaged with safety and compliance goals.
- 4-5 team leads as direct reports. Around 30+ indirect reports.
- Set performance goals and KPIs for warehouse staff and regularly evaluate their performance.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to improve team performance.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations in warehousing.
- Experience with Zendesk or similar customer service software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyse and improve processes for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
