As a Warehouse - Delivery Driver at Crescent Electric, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery and/or pick-up of goods to specified locations. This includes safe operation of the vehicle, vehicle maintenance, and loading/unloading trucks in an efficient manner. In this role, you will also assist with picking and other standard warehouse activities, as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES:

Drive company trucks making prompt, on-schedule deliveries and pick-ups while notifying management of any delays in the delivery schedule. Establish familiarity with delivery routes and customers’ preferences.

Load and unload trucks in an accurate and efficient manner.

Maintain vehicle properly and perform daily pre and post trip inspections. Record damage to vehicles, product, and/or equipment.

Maintain a harmonious relationship with co-workers and customers.
-
Report and observe customer problems and opportunities.

Identify deficiencies and/or areas of improvement in the delivery process and communicate them to management.

Utilize PC-based WMS to perform all warehouse activities; including, but not limited to, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, cycle count, inventory, and outbound processing audits, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 21 years of age or older.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

6+ months of product delivery and/or warehouse experience.

Valid driver's licence.

Current medical certification card and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a medical certification card.

Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
