As a Maintenance Technician you are responsible for the professional, courteous, timely, and satisfactory completion of all assigned duties given by the Maintenance Supervisor. In total, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing the tasks that enable us to maintain properties in first-class condition. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Prioritize and complete maintenance work orders in a precise and timely manner.
- Electrical repairs and service of water heaters, garbage disposals, electric wall heaters, baseboard heaters, wall outlets, light switches, and ceiling lights
- Plumbing repairs, service, and installation of faucets, drains, toilets, and sinks utilizing copper, ABS, PVC, PB plastic, and galvanized pipes.
- Carpentry and remodeling, including floor underlayment, sub-floor, cabinet repairs, sheetrock/drywall repairs, texturing, interior and exterior door replacement.
- Work to achieve and maintain overall curb appeal standards for our company.
- Being on call if or when needed to.
- Being responsible for exhibiting and promoting professionalism among maintenance staff.
- Exhibiting courtesy always; treating all clients and company personnel with respect and professionalism.
- Ensuring maintenance is performed in such a manner as to minimize discomfort or distress, while keeping in mind that quality matters.
- Completing the above duties and all others deemed necessary by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
