Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining, CNC operation, and using tools such as micrometers. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and utilizing power tools to produce precision parts.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Inspect and measure finished products using micrometers and other precision tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for accurate measurements
- Perform electrical discharge machining (EDM) operations when required
- Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Fabricate components using various materials
- Assemble parts to create finished products
Experience:
- minimum 7-10 years in the shop and at least 2 years performing set ups.
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in CNC operation and programming
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of power tools
- Ability to work with tight tolerances and precision measurements
- Familiarity with GD&T principles for interpreting technical drawings
- Experience in fabricating and assembling components
