Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Perform tire services, including mounting, balancing, and repairing tires
- Weld and perform auto body repairs as needed
- Align and balance wheels to ensure proper vehicle handling and performance
- Inspect and repair transmissions and other powertrain components
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively
- Experience with tire service, including mounting, balancing, and repairing tires
- Knowledge of welding techniques for auto body repairs
- Familiarity with aligning wheels for proper vehicle handling
- Ability to perform oil changes and other routine automotive maintenance tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
