Optimize Electric Inc. is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role is crucial to supporting our commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence in providing electrical services.

All our electricians are licensed or certified, ensuring that they have undergone rigorous training and have the necessary qualifications to handle electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs safely and effectively.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.

Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.

Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Monitor company finances and ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

Assist in budget preparation and expense management.

Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.

Handle payroll processing, including calculation and distribution of wages, tax withholdings, and benefits.

Manage invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.

Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies and policies.

Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee information.
The ideal candidate should possess:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office, especially Excel.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper designation) is a plus.

Experience in Construction Industry and Office is preferred
