Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives, support sales targets and expand market share in the automotive and aerospace industries.
- Identify, build and manage relationships with strategic partners.
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities, including potential immediate and future revenue.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and forecasts to senior management.
- Understand and own customer/partner legal agreements and contracts, providing legal team with business information.
- Evangelize product value position and work in close partnership with Marketing team regarding tradeshow and technology demonstration activities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services.
- Work closely with PMO and product management for BD projects.
- Utilize HubSpot as CRM tool, following CoreAVI's Sales Process.
- Participate in various Marketing and Sales meetings.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the embedded software industry, preferably in the automotive or aerospace markets.
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of embedded graphics software and its applications.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development objectives and driving new strategic initiatives.
- Outstanding interpersonal and public communication skills with a shown ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Able to work effectively with a team of engineers in a fast paced and multifaceted environment.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, collaboration, team building, and other interpersonal skills.
- Adept working in geographically distributed teams.
- Adept at the Microsoft Office tool suite, including Visio, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Experience working with HubSpot is an asset.
