POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the receipt, documentation, scheduling, coordinating and follow through to satisfactory completion of resident service requests for specific assigned residential apartment community; coordination, scheduling and preparation/turn over of vacant apartment units; research, plan, coordinate and supervise capital improvement projects; creation, enhancement; revision and implementation of preventative maintenance programs; hiring, training and supervision of service department staff; supervision and coordination of contracted laborers; oversee grounds maintenance and upkeep of curb appeal; respond to maintenance emergencies.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Three (3) years work history and experience in the field of on-site maintenance management, with an understanding of landlord/tenant matters, contractual negotiations, maintenance and construction issues and employee relations with an emphasis on strong interpersonal skills, basic computer skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid NY State Drivers License with a clean driving record.
