Role Overview and Responsibilities:Introduction
The Depot Electronics Assembler is responsible for providing expertise in assembly work on low-volume, high-mix Depot repairs for a wide variety of Power Supplies. The Depot Assembler should be able to set-up and troubleshoot equipment and/or provide on-the-job training for the power supplies assembly operators and technicians. This role should consistently strive towards making better product and processes.

Key Responsibilities*
- Must meet all classification requirements for an Electronics Assembly Operator role.
- Operates and sets-up advance inspection equipment and methods like profile projector and x-ray machines.
- Functional expert capable of working on complex operation steps. Expertise must be in assembly, soldering, and inspection.
- Trains others on functional job skills.
- Helps create standard work expectations of productivity and quality of work.
- Actively applies principles of Lean Manufacturing to help engage team with process improvements.
- Must be able to be recognized by multiple flow cell leaders as a valued production resource.
- Must be able to be frequently use3d as a resource to help across flow lines.
- Resident expert and a go-to person for manufacturing assembly processes, equipment, and quality procedures.
- Be a go-to resource for team members.
- Continued focus on improvement ideas and implementation of ideas.
- Can assist on the line technically if Production Lead is absent.
- Other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:Core Requirements
- Reads and understands production drawings and work instructions.
- Works with chemicals.
- Good manual dexterity/ability to work with fine wire and small components.
- Works in a repetitive job.
- Works with knowledge of quality practices.
- Meets vision requirements specif-iced by quality management system.
- This position is on the production floor and could involve sitting for a long period of time, but not limited to standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day.
- Lifting amounts of up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desireable Skills and Experience*
- GED or High School Diploma
- At least four years electronics assembly experience with TT Electronics or in manufacturig is strongly preferred.
- IPC 610 and IPC 620 certification required.
- IPC 7711/7721 certification required.
- IPC J-STD-001 certification required.
- Soldering experience of at least two years is required.
- Inspection and training experience is preferred.
- Lean certification is preferred.
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
