Title: Digital Communications Coordinator
Job Purpose: Responsible for marketing activities, deploying successful campaigns from ideation to execution
Arrhythmia Alliance (A-A) is a coalition of charities, patient groups, patients, carers, medical groups, and allied professionals. Although these groups remain independent, they work together under the A-A umbrella to promote timely and effective diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias.
Core Aims
- To raise awareness of cardiac arrhythmias
- To improve diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias
- To improve treatment of cardiac arrhythmias
- To improve quality of life for people with cardiac arrhythmia
Main duties and key responsibilities, but not limited to:
· Assist with the daily management of charity digital media channels, including content creation, sourcing, monitoring, and reporting.
· Ensure the branding guidelines are being met.
· Assist in the development and creation of graphics/design for traditional and digital marketing materials in accordance with the charity’s branding standard.
· Developing and managing web content using content management systems.
· Ability to independently research and support the writing of internal and external communications such as but not limited to press releases, newsletters, web content using Mailchimp
· Proactively researching the content for virtual and traditional events to create and write engaging copy.
· Ability to create and manage social media content through the scheduling tool Loomly, across all platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and any other relevant social media channels.
· Monitoring and engaging with all social media channels to help grow following and keep up with trends.
· Assisting the Events Team and to ensure all events, projects, and campaigns are promoted efficiently to the target audience and that content is relevant.
· Support with the creation and modifications of presentations.
· Ensure that all teams within the charity are making the best use of online communication tools & design.
· Supporting the organisation, promotion and delivery of all charity events including Patients Day, World Heart Rhythm Week, Global AF Aware Week, Know Your Pulse & Support Groups etc.
Applicant requirements:
· Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva) or similar
· Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Good attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Can work flexibly, and as part of a team
· Methodical and thorough approach to work
· Friendly and polite, with the ability to empathise
· Resourcefulness, creativity and tenacity to meet goals and desired outcomes
· Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· High standard of care to approach with attention to detail
· A good listener; patient and professional
· A passion for the non-profit world is required
· Represent the organisation in a professional manner
· Must have a valid driver’s license and adequate vehicle transportation to meet the responsibilities of the position
· Be available to travel and work away from the office on occasion, if required
· Authorized to work in the US.
Education/Experience:
- Associates or BS/BA in Marketing or equivalent
- 3-5 years of Marketing experience
Additional Needs/Requirements:

- Familiarity/understanding of Google AdWords
- Project Management Experience
- Creative thinker and writer

Pay: $42,500.00 - $47,000.00 per year
