We are looking to hire a licensed mental health therapist (LPC, LPCC, and/or LAC) to help serve our clientele with their behavioral health issues. If you're hard-working and dedicated, Running Creek Counseling is an ideal place for you. Certified Addiction Specialist or above required. Supervision for LPC, LAC, and DV approval is available.
Responsibilities
- Provide an array of outpatient mental health services.
- Conduct intakes, evaluations, and group, individual, and/or couple therapy.
- Will provide services to adults and adolescents.
- Develop treatment plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment
- Provide mental health and drug and alcohol evaluations, counseling, referrals, and intervention services
- Complete and maintain documentation in a timely and accurate manner and according to Federal, State, and Agency guidelines
- Write reports to the court, department of human services, or other community agencies as necessary
- Collaborate with external psychiatric care providers as well as representatives from criminal justice agencies and civic assistance programs.
Qualifications
- LPC, LPCC, etc. preferred
- DV Approval preferred; Must be willing to become DV approved after hiring
- CAS, LAC preferred
- Masters degree in a behavioral health field.
- Able to work independently and as a positive member of a team
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and their families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality
- Hardworking and reliable
- Once an offer is made, employment is contingent on passing a background check, OIG, and urine screen.
- Virtual and in-person meetings for individual sessions
- In-Person schedules available.
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
