High Peaks Distributing is a leading beverage distributor servicing Essex, Clinton, Franklin and Hamilton counties out of our facility in Saranac Lake, NY. We are looking for an organized and professional administrative assistant that will be a great fit for our team. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment and day to day business.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Customer Service: Answering and directing phone calls and e-mails. Assisting customers with orders, invoices, general questions, etc.
- Managing a calendar: Organizing and scheduling delivery appointments to the warehouse.
- Learning and using our beverage industry specific software to manage and record day to day business operations. The software is very user friendly and easy to learn.
- Ability to work and communication efficiently with our office and warehouse staff.
- Provide support to our sales and delivery team when they are in the market.
- Maintain inventory of Point of Sale.
- Additional office and clerical responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Education: High School or Equivalent
Experience: 2+ years customer service, 2+ years office administration
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Work Location:
- On-site at our office location
Pay Frequency:
- Bi-weekly salary payments
