Fuel Dispatcher
Cadence Petroleum Group, DBA Frost Oil is a fast-growing automotive, commercial, and industrial lubricant distributor in the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Fuel Dispatcher. As a Fuel Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the transportation and delivery of fuel to various locations.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for delivering and executing daily runs of the drivers to achieve efficient and economical business objectives.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the dispatching of fuel trucks to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Monitor fuel inventory levels and schedule deliveries accordingly
- Utilize transportation management systems to track and manage fuel shipments
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry
- Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, including quantities, locations, and times
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, drivers and sales staff
- Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Conduct monthly product inventories
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dispatching or logistics preferred
- Knowledge of transportation management systems and supply chain processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in data entry and comfortable working with spreadsheets
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle stressful situations calmly
