Manager, Graduate Medical Education Regulation & Administration - Cornell & Columbia
The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Regulation & Administration Manager helps optimize the education of graduate house staff (“trainees”) through work focused on educational regulation and administration of residency and fellowship programs and institutional monitoring and management, collaboration with other NYP departments and engagement with external regulators. You will maintain protocols, processes, and workflows to manage GME programs. In addition you'll work closely with other teams in the Academic Affairs Office and other departments including Medical Staff Office and Human Resources. Interpret and apply policies and oversight of activities related to Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, NYS Department of Health, Department of Education, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates Visa sponsorship, etc. Manage and oversee staff members within the regulation and administration team. Participate with the larger GME team on initiatives to optimize graduate medical education programs.
This is a full time position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan and the ability for 1 day remote.

Required Criteria

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

5+ years of related experience, with minimum of 3 years in graduate medical education

Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to manage people, deadlines, work and workflows

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills

$97,000-$145,000/Annual
