Our Infant Assistant Teachers (internally known as Classroom Support Professionals) support our mission by collaborating with teachers in implementing lessons designed to stimulate developmental growth and fostering a welcoming environment so children can thrive.
Positions are available across our two West Lafayette centers working with Infants and Toddlers.
What will I do?

Encourage children by preparing and managing an engaging environment that fosters their independence and self-selection of learning activities.

Work cooperatively with the teachers to implement our play based curriculum.

Establish warm and responsive relationships that allow each child to feel recognized, acknowledged and secure.

Maintain a healthy, safe and clean environment for children and team members.

Develop trusted relationships with families by communicating on a regular and ongoing basis to relay information about each child's day.

Support the teacher in noticing and documenting child development observations.

Ensure all state licensing rules and regulations are adhered to, including those for NAEYC accreditation, Paths to QUALITY™, CACFP and Indiana child care center licensing.
What do I need?

A passion for early childhood education

Be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the children and center

Be able to build and nurture relationships with children and adults

High School diploma (or equivalent) required

Childcare experience working with young children preferred

Our centers are open year round Monday-Friday. Full-time positions are nine hours shifts with a one hour lunch break. Part-Time positions can offer more flexible scheduling.
