Child Care Teacher
BBCC is looking for highly motivated teachers to join our team! The ideal candidates must have a love for young children, and be commited to the growth and development of young children.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Early Childhood, or Child Development
- In lieu of an Associates degree, DCFS requires one of the following:
- 60 semester hours of college credits with 6 hours directly related to childcare or child development (birth to age 6)
- CDA (Child Development Associates)
- Transcripts, a background check, physical, and proof of vaccinations required upon hire.
- 1 year experience working in a daycare facility
Responsibilities
- Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
- Balance teaching between logical and social exercises
- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child’s abilities
- Communicate with parents daily
- Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of harmony
- Collaborate with other colleagues
- Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by DCFS
- Positive "can do" attitude
- Good work ethic
- Is a team player

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
