Nutex Health Inc. (NASDAQ: NUTX) is a healthcare management and operations company with two divisions: a Hospital Division and a Population Health Management Division.
The Hospital Division owns, develops, and operates innovative healthcare models, including micro-hospitals, specialty hospitals, and hospital outpatient departments (HOPDs). This division owns and operates 20 facilities in 8 states.
We are looking for an experienced Director of Information Technology to oversee the IT operations in our organization. You'll be responsible for managing employees within the IT department, liaising with other departments to ascertain their technological requirements, and developing solutions aligned with our organization's objectives.
To be successful as an Director of Information Technology, you should have excellent technical aptitude and superior project and people management skills. Ultimately, an outstanding IT director should maintain smooth, secure, and updated technical operations within an organization.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all IT operations infrastructure.
- The IT Director will guide information systems operations, analysis, and programming of software systems.
- Direct strategic integration of ERP Systems with business priorities, enhancing operational efficiency and aligning with business goals.
- Manage and optimize Clinical applications and Workday ERP systems, ensuring support for business operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, including MSPs and Software providers, ensuring SLA adherence.
- Identify and recommend technological innovations and improvements that support long-term business objectives.
- Monitors accessibility of applications or services.
- Leads implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide system tools, enterprise risk assessment, and ensures scalability. Implements and maintains operating policies to mitigate risk.
- May also be responsible for information center, database management, data security, telecommunications, or information systems training.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects aligned with organizational objectives.
- Liaising with other departments to determine and address their IT needs and requirements.
- Manage and supervise employees in the IT department.
- Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.
- Conduct cyber security gap analysis & associates’ risk analysis and create a plan/program to protect.
- Meet with the Finance and Operations team to understand procedural tasks.
- Create a security charter.
- Involvement in audits of the IT division.
- Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.
- Propose strategic solutions and recommend new systems and software.
- Preparing financial budgets and performance reports.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors.
- Ensuring reported issues are resolved promptly.
- Begin transition and planning to move more of the IT services in-house versus outside vendors.
IT Director Requirements:
- Ten years of experience in information technology.
- Five years of management experience.
- Five years of Healthcare IT, required.
- One - three years experience in a hospital setting, required.
- Experience in Workday ERP systems.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, preferred.
- 5-10 years experience in SOX.
- Proof of continued education, such as software certifications, is desirable.
- Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
