Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, economics, business administration or other related field from a four-year accredited college or university and two years of full-time administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. Knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods. Working knowledge of operational and fiscal analysis and techniques. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures and ability to analyze financial data and make accurate projections. Proficiency with computers using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures. Ability to organize and plan work and projects including handling multiple priorities; make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment, and solve problems. Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters; and establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside of the department. Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU.
