Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - M&A and Fundraising
As the Fractional CFO, you will play a critical role in our executive team, providing strategic leadership over our financial functions with a heavy focus on M&A and fundraising initiatives. You will work closely with senior management to craft strategies that enhance our market position and achieve financial growth. Subject to candidate's performance and interest in the first 6 months of engagement, company may offer competitive equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute financial and strategic planning including capital raises and M&A activities aligned with AI tech business requirements of the company.
- Develop and maintain investor relationships to successfully secure funding.
- Oversee due diligence, valuation, and the negotiation of financial terms during acquisitions.
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Implement robust financial systems and controls to support the growth of the company.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
- Prepare detailed reports for the executive leadership and stakeholders, highlighting company performance, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CFO, finance officer, or relevant role, particularly in managing M&A and corporate finances.
- Strong experience in fundraising rounds and investor relations.
- Deep understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis, forecasting models, cap tables, SAFE and priced rounds of fundraising.
- Proficiency with financial software and MS Office.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- CPA or other relevant qualification is preferred.
