What is this job?
The role of the Sales Leader is to lead, manage, and train our inbound sales team leading our efforts to build relationships and drive new moving opportunities.
This is a hybrid role where you will build relationships from the initial phone call for new prospects, setting your team up for success with the finalization of account setup and job bookings for each customer that you speak with. The inbound team will then fulfill those leads with the expertise that you share with them.
We anticipate a 70% new business generation and 30% management split in this role, with opportunities to build a team and manage full time as we grow.

Setting individual sales targets with the sales team
- Meeting planned sales goals
- Tracking sales team goals and reporting results as necessary
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation
- The ongoing training of your salespeople
- Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
- Building new customer relationships, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
- Answering potential customers' questions and providing them with helpful information over the phone and via email
- Keeping up with current product and service information and explaining features and benefits to potential customers
- Generating moving estimates for customers
- Assisting in maintaining the calendar for booking and staffing moves
- Staying informed about competing products and services
- Upselling products and services
- Researching and qualifying new leads and sales channels
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets
- Assisting with the development and execution of the company’s marketing plan
- Building strong relationships with new and existing community partners
- Participating in networking events in the Chicagoland Area
