McAngel Home Visiting Nurses, LLC is a rapidly growing agency that is looking to add an experienced professional to our office team. This candidate would work directly with both our office team members as well as field staff to ensure smooth, quality care delivery to our new and existing patients.
This position is responsible for managing the scheduling of patient visits to provide outstanding service delivery while improving the patient experience and coordinating referrals received from our referral sources. This role will collaborate with all team members to achieve exceptional clinical, quality, and financial outcomes. The candidsate will also coordinate our agency's marketing initiatives.
In general, most of the time will be spent on the following activities:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day workflow of our office.
- Manage schedules for nursing, therapy & HHA visits.
- Coordinates initial admission services and acts as a liaison for the nursing team.
- Complies with agency-established processes to maintain standards and ensure standardization.
- Responsible for ensuring required information is provided and flowed timely to complete the functions of billing, payroll, admissions, and care delivery.
- Monitor incoming referrals received by the agency via fax or the EPIC system. Verify all new referrals insurance coverage and begin the authorization process.
- Periodic travel between various facility locations for promotional events.
- Coordinate all marketing activities to generate leads
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
Qualifications
Education: College degree or equivalent with medical secretarial background preferred
Experience: You MUST have office work experience.
Skills: Office procedures, computer proficiency
BILINGUAL is a plus.
