Job Brief Description
Seeking talented/experienced .NET Architect / Software Developer (Remote) to help design, architect, build, update, and maintain our Residential and Commercial Evaluation (and Appraisal-related) software solutions (including back-end MS SQL database, and REST APIs) for Evalifi (AND Associated Appraisal Consultants).
The .NET Architect / Software Developer’s responsibilities include architecting software and database designs; writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages; providing technical support for our thick client and/or thin client & web-based applications, and developing new (and improving existing) innovative, easy to use, and scalable software and REST APIs.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is proficient in .NET languages and has in-depth knowledge of design/analytics patterns and principles, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design, architecture, and requirements development, refinement, and analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Qualifications
- Comfortable in entrepreneurial, creative, fast-paced, agile development environment
- Proven experience as a .NET Architect / Software Developer or Thin/Web and Thick Client, Dual Architecture, Application Developer
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, Microsoft SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC))
- Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C# (preferred), Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST (preferred), RPC)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

- Work Environment/Remote: Office setting with options for remote work. Some travel may be required for face-to-face team meetings or client consultations. We utilized Microsoft Teams for video meetings.
