General Nutraceutical Technology’s (GNT's) mission is to develop novel interventions to improve quality of life and save lives through the identification, development, and commercialization of therapeutics for allergic and inflammatory diseases including Food Allergy, Asthma, Mast Cell activation, allergic Rhinitis, Eczema, and Eosinophilic Esophagitis. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Chemistry or a related degree to join our dynamic team. As a Cosmetic Chemist, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative cosmetic products that meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise in cosmetic chemistry will contribute to our company's success in creating cutting-edge personal care products. The ideal candidate is highly focused on quality with a strong background in cosmetic science and a passion for creating exceptional cosmetic formulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development activities to work on cosmetic products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough ingredient research and analysis to identify and select the most suitable components for product formulations.
- Perform stability testing and evaluate the performance, efficacy, and safety of cosmetic products.
- Follow FDA guidance of cGMP; Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including SOPs, formulation records, lab reports, and technical data sheets.
- Troubleshoot formulation issues and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure product quality and stability.
- Assist in scaling up production with advanced equipment, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production processes.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to lab safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging technologies in cosmetic chemistry to drive innovation and product improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field.
- Prior experience in cosmetic formulation and product development is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of cosmetic chemistry principles, raw materials, and formulation techniques.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and product labeling requirements.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment, formulation software, and relevant scientific tools.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for the cosmetic industry and a desire to create innovative and superior beauty products.
- Physical Conditions: Ability to lift 40+lbs due to operation of production equipment.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
