Essential Job Functions
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Prepared and on time for scheduled shift.
- Responsible for Daily Shift validations.
- Must have competency in the following:
- Understanding of the latest electrical code
- Grounding and grounding systems
- Cable tray and conduit installations
- Area classifications
- Connectors used for installations
- Cables used for installations
- Cable installation in cable tray and below grade
- Power center estimating including transformer, switchgear, larger disconnect systems etc.
- Instrumentation estimating
- Read and understand Instrument Index and Instrument Data Sheets
- Pressure Transmitters
- Level Transmitters
- Temperature Transmitters
- Automated valves
- Flow Transmitters
- O2 Analyzers
- Power Distribution Centers and MCCs
- PLC installations
- New work and Existing upgrades to large and small projects
- Able to do job walks on existing sites
- Able to drive to locations up to 2 hours away
- Company vehicle provided
- Current DL required
- Assist in clear scope development with clarifications and exclusions
- Electrical Master/Journeyman licensing a plus but not required
- Will train in our current Bid to Win software
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Understanding of Electrical Materials required
- Able to build MTO’s from drawings
- Ability to request and review material quotes from vendors
- Experience with data entry
- Strong communication, presentation, writing, and computer skills are essential.
- Provided detailed task description for each work center including any special precautions.
- Keep lines of communication open with equipment owners and technical authorities
- Evaluate Work Package Feedback form and update standard tasks lists and Work Packages if needed to improve future work and efficiency
- Utilize SAP knowledge to provide technical assistance as required for asset personnel
- Participate in Monthly Performance Review and Worklog Review meetings.
- Determine if internal or external services are required and estimate hours resource requirements.
- Comply with all government, state and local safety regulations as well as all company policies and rules.
- Be actively involved in Behavioral Safety Process.
- Perform tasks assigned by Project Manager.
- Develop knowledge of KSI PPM-SOPs and refer to the SOP Manual prior to each task.
- Follow all KS Industries, LLC safety, and customer policies and procedures.
- Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.

- Demonstrated ability to utilize a computerized maintenance management system; ie. SAP, MAXIMO, DataStream, Oracle
- Knowledge with materials and construction methods, including requirements for different construction types (maintenance, new construction, plants)
- Ability to complete training for Behavioral Safety Process

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- Working on oil field projects: 5 years (Preferred)
Education and Experience
High School Diploma/GED required, additional education and certifications preferred.
3-5 years maintenance planning experience within the petrochemical, manufacturing, production or oil & gas relevant industry experience.

Lifting/Pulling/Jerking/Grasping/Raising/Lowering: Must be able to lift, grasp up to 50 lbs. with the use of fingers, palm and wrists to hold and/or manipulate objects (hammers, saws, pencils, pens etc.) Must be able to raise and lower objects from one level to another.

Working Conditions: The locations vary from site to site. Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to concentrate well on the job at hand, in all types of weather. Majority of the work is construction-based work. Walking and working surface vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes and frozen, wet, snowy and slippery conditions.
Working Hours: Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-10’s and some weekends. All labor laws in reference to rest breaks and meal periods will be followed.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
