The Training Coordinator will oversee coordinating and executing the training for new products/initiatives, new restaurant openings, as well as creating the training materials needed to provide a consistent, stable, well-built learning experience for our team members. This role needs to be the liaison with Human Resources, Operations, Marketing and team leaders to stay current on company’s product launchings and business developments in order to guarantee consistency and clarity on messages to convey.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate, lead and execute New Restaurant Opening (NRO) training program.
- Manages NRO tools and schedules for the optimization of training resources.
- Enhances, updates, maintains training resources, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials for all NROs.
- Coordinates traveling logistics for NRO’s and additional training support requested by operations.
- Train and certify trainers in the training and operations departments for the market.
- Prepare and facilitate new initiatives/launches trainings ensuring cascade methodology is executed by the selected dates.
- Coordinate, lead and execute hands-on training of new products/processes launch.
- Develop content and training materials.
- Develop surveys and reports data on the effective delivery of training sessions.
- Maintain the training metrics, which includes the management of data related to key performance indicators.
- Coordinate training program debrief sessions, including the reporting of trends and action plans.
Requirements:
- BSc in Organizational Development, Training & Development, Human Resources or related field or relevant field preferred.
- Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques
- 3 + years of experience restaurant management/leadership role, 2+ years of NRO experience.
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Confidence and ability to influence others, to provide and receive feedback, to facilitate processes, and coach/advise managers and employees.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Availability to travel up to 75% for extended periods of time.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
