KLS Logistics is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within our facility. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC/R, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, dock doors, dock levelers, lighting, racking, and roof.
- Conduct repairs on equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot logic controllers and other technical components to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Required to complete daily work orders utilizing a work order tracking system (i.e. CMMS).
Experience:
- Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, and working with precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and the ability to analyze and maintain them effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with a warehouse environment and basic hand tools (multi-meters, sockets, wrenches, screw drivers, various power tools, etc.)
- Ability to work under limited to no supervision.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:

Maintain HVAC system.

Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.

Carry out preventative maintenance programs.

Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.

Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.

Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.

Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.

Answer security/alarm calls as needed.
Required Education and Experience:

2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
