Position: Full Time Maintenance Technician II
Summary
The Maintenance Technician will support by responding to downtime issues and addressing out of spec processes related to joining technologies such as spot welding, MAG welding, sealing, and clinching etc. to meet production and quality targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate preventative maintenance activities with production.
Troubleshoot robot and controls issues.
Perform jig and fixture adjustments.
Create fault mapping visualization on HMIs for problem identification.
Train, teach, and support maintenance and production teams during production time.
Perform weld expulsion reduction activities.
Audit, revise, improve PM activities on process equipment using CMMS, SAP, Iportal
Install new equipment, write control logic, and optimize processes.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers or field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
Write reports, record data or analyze testing techniques, laboratory equipment, or specifications for new controls architectures.
Research equipment or component needed to help improve KPI‘s.
Organize, plan, and prioritize work – developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates – provide information to supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person.
Responsible for identifying and ordering spare parts and equipment for upgrades within scope of technologies required for the position.
Qualifications Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Body Shop Process Equipment or 5 years Automotive Manufacturing
High School Diploma or GED
Strong Siemens PLC Troubleshooting and logic writing
Equipment problem solving and improvement capability – strong Weld Process Knowledge
Work individually and in a team
Use standard MS office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
Able to work all shifts – production schedule or maintenance schedule depending on business need.

Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
